From initial enquiry, to getting the best price available. We aim to offer, inspect, collect and pay you for your car as quickly and as efficiently as possible for you. Our buyers will come to your door, inspect your car and collect it on a day which suits you and this is included in the price offered. If you have outstanding finance we can make sure this is settled and any equity in the car is paid directly to your designated bank account. We’ll find it for you. We have access to a number of off market vehicles and aim to find you the perfect specification. You car value is determined by a number of factors such as: type of car, the condition it is in, desirability, rarity, demand and the current market conditions. For some cars we may not be in a position to make an offer, this is determined by market value and dealer demand for that particular model. There is no obligation to sell through us. The prices we offer are a fair trade value. If you are not happy with your offer you are welcome to negotiate with the buyer to see if they can improve, or list your car within our classifieds section in the hope to achieve a better price. We do not charge a fee to customers who sell their car through us. As we are a broker we earn a commission from the trader buying your car. Payment is made after the car has been inspected and paperwork completed. We advise you do not hand the keys over until funds have arrived. They can take up to 2 hours to reach your account once sent. We work with a number of motor traders and dealerships who either buy/sell cars or buy them into stock. You will receive payment from the buyer directly, not Carmoto. Retail price is a lot higher than trade price. You will receive the best fair market trade price for your car. Traders will always offer less than what you see cars advertised for online, on the likes of Autotrader. This is because those cars have already been prepped to sale standard, have a warranty and have a dealer profit factored in, and allow room for negotiation. Providing your car is as described and there are no discrepancies when the car is collected you will receive full payment however this is up to the discretion of the buyer. If there are any issues highlighted then your offer may be reduced or worst case, the offer rejected. Offers are valid for 7 days, after that however some buyers may honour offers for longer. This is entirely up to the individual purchasing. We aim to complete swift smooth transactions. Yes, we can settle any finance providing you have a valid settlement letter from your finance company. Our buyers contact you directly to arrange for a convenient time and place to collect the car. This is usually done within 2 working days of your offer. I filled in the website form to sell my Huracan and within 15 minutes Carmoto were in contact with me.
